College admission guidance
The exam is one step.
Admission has its own process.
Keep your entrance preparation, coaching enrolment and college counselling clearly separated.
Start with the right authority
Check the official counselling process for your course, quota and institution. Registration for an entrance exam does not automatically register you for counselling.
| Target | Official starting point |
|---|---|
| NEET medical / dental counselling | MCC and the relevant state counselling authority |
| UP CNET B.Sc Nursing | ABVMU’s linked CNET portal and counselling bulletin |
| AIIMS nursing | AIIMS Exams course notices |
| BAMS / allied pathways | The applicable course and counselling authority |
Prepare a document folder
- Application confirmation and payment receipts.
- Entrance admit card and result or scorecard.
- Class 10 and Class 12 certificates or marksheets.
- Identity, category and domicile documents where required.
- Allotment letter and reporting instructions when issued.
This is a planning checklist; the current official bulletin controls the exact documents and formats.
A typical sequence to understand
- Read the current counselling notice and confirm eligibility.
- Register on the official portal within the relevant window.
- Research eligible colleges and make choices carefully.
- Check allotment and follow the stated reporting process.
- Keep copies of submissions and follow later-round rules.
